Co-founder
As originator of the GullyBuy concept, she believes in being a ‘responsible shopper’ by buying from local shops, thereby promoting local entrepreneurs and a sustainable lifestyle. Previously co-founded and built Sapience - a successful global enterprise software product in People Analytics. Swati was awarded the ‘Woman Leader of the Year in IT/ITES’ in 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening and traveling.
Shirish Deodhar
Co-founder
Co-founded GullyBuy with the vision to simplify the local shopping experience for every household. This is his fourth start-up in the past 30 years. The first two in IT Services had successful exits and the third is a successful global enterprise product company. Shirish likes to read fiction, watch Netflix, and travel (preferably Goa on vacation and the US to meet family).
Amol Potnis
Co-founder & VP of Engineering
Amol loves all things digital and the adrenaline rush that a strong cup of tea and the startup culture offers. He is a software entrepreneur by profession and traveler by heart. When not working, you may catch him watching ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma’ with his daughter. His favorite weekend trip is ‘Go Goa’ on his motorbike.
Prasad Chitale
CTO & Founding Executive
Prasad has 25+ years of software industry experience. He is a founder of 3 successful start-ups. Even while working, Prasad completed a Ph.D. in Management Sciences. He is a passionate teacher, visiting faculty at several colleges and a member of the Board of Studies at SPPU (Pune University) and MIT Pune. In his free time, you will catch him farming or spending quality time with his family and two dogs.
Abhay Phadke
VP Cloud Technologies & Founding Executive
Abhay is a software technologist in domains such as cloud, storage, networking with 30+ years of experience in the US and India. In his free time, he enjoys reading books, bicycling, spending quality time with wife and a daughter. His favourite TV show is ‘the big bang theory’. JFYI – he doesn’t have any social media profiles!
Prakhar Srivastava
Director of Sales
Prakhar has been involved in building and scaling up business for several startups. He has significant experience in Enterprise and Channel Sales and has played a key role in building monetisation to strengthen top line revenue. Outside of work, he loves to read (non-fiction and biographies) or go cycling. He is also an avid Table Tennis player.
Koeli Chatterjee
Director of Marketing
Koeli is passionate about marketing strategy and helping startups to achieve their brand vision. She has 10+ years of experience in key marketing roles in hospitality, IT and Tech Startups. Koeli is an avid dog lover and a big foodie. In her free time, she loves spending time with her pets and playing games on her mobile.

We are looking for bright individuals who are great at selling, have an outgoing and friendly personality. You will have to sign up kirana stores for our mobile app. Should be comfortable speaking in Hindi, Marathi and English.
